IC aborts at 97%

i've used dvd decrypter to create an ISO file and IC to copy the 3rd LOTR disk, but IC always aborts with an error at around 97%.

IC version is 8.0002

this same method works ok with other DVD's.
Only thing that's different is that the LOTR iso file is bigger than the others.
size is about 8.5GB.

could this be a size issue ? i.e., IC can't stuff this into 1 disk?
any suggestions would be appreciated

I've got the same problem, with the same disk. I think mine ends at 99%. I didn't rip to ISO, but to the VOB files (using Decrypter). I was playing around with the rip today, and noticed that the last VOB won't fast forward when playing with Nero Showtime. Could this be some type of copy protection? I'm assuming it's a ripping problem, and not a IC problem. Anyone else have ideas?
