Ic 8.0.0.267

Hi,

just bought and installed the downloadable upgrade from IC7 to IC8 in Pinnacle's web shop and now my version is 8.0.0.267.

Here is the link to the upgrade: http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PixieItemDownloads/InstantCopyUpgrade804.exe

Note: requires upgrade serial number, not sure this can be used to update a retail IC8 version.

Let me know if you need help adding support for this new version.
Hi RB!

thanks for reporting this new version.

i doubt it can be used to update a Retail of IC8 the traditional way, since it
requires a valid installation of IC7 to be executed!

Support for it has been added to InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor
you can get the new Version 1.4.2 as usual here

Thanks for the update!

I have one little problem both with the new and the previous version of ICHSE, though: whenever I use IC Batch Control it warns me that I have selected customized settings and that my interaction will be required when I execute the batch processing. However, this is not true, I had set IC to "Automatic Resize" already before running ICHSE and IC processes the job list just fine without requiring interaction.

Hi!

I have the same problem with ICHSE 1.4.2.

The batch processing seems to start without any further interaction. But icopy.exe ignores the autoload parameter in the command line generated by ICHSE.

Any idea?

Ciao

Hi Thomas!

Sad but true, this is still a bug in InstantCopy, it happens with all of the IC7s and with the early IC8s, i couldnt test the latest IC8 update for this issue yet, so i dont know if it is working there now.

But no matter what you do , run the command by hand, use Pinnacles BatchTool or InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editors BatchControl, IC refuses to pick up on the previously saved settings :(

I really hoped they had that fixed by now!

Sorry for the bad news!
