I-Shell (short for Internet Explorer Shell) is a tool for web masters and system administrators who are interested in customizing the appearance of the Internet Explorer on their end users' desktops. Using I-Shell, enables the developer to control the functions of the browser in many aspects. All images (aka "Skins") and instructions related to the browser are located on your web site. Once I-Shell starts running, you can direct it to your web site, and with merely a few lines of HTML coding, it will look and react exactly as you want it to. You can distribute a web application in a far more elegant way than simply sending a URL to your customers. Once your customers\users are using I-Shell you can change the look and feel of the browser on a daily basis. Another useful application can be using I-Shell as a shell for those web applications that are running on a public computer, usually with a built-in keyboard and a touch screen. I-Shell allows you to disable many unwanted features in the browser, thus enhancing the safety of your application.
