T.P. - I was attempting to use irony. Anyone who has been to a porn site would have been bombarded with a slew of pop-ups. In that fact lies the satirical truth. If your not selling personal info, or compiling huge databases of email addresses to sell, your using pop-ups. Hard plain fact. Not very many altruistic people running sites out-of-pocket left on the web.
I figured U was & so was I <<>> i agree on most sites I stop em but on certain sites which I get stuff from I allow popups & even open some just to help the site
Its a simple fact that pay porn sites make the most money on the web!!!
The whole story isn´t easy, yes ..
Personally I do not have a popup killer installed, since I do understand the needs of ehm.
To pay the servers, traffic and so on.
Though many sites overdue it, soft51 was one of the sites which had massive popups. There I blocked it with MyIE, but on all the other sites, which use them in a resonable way ... I just let ehm pop up
N.B. I agree with you I wasn't talking about any cdrsoft site. I don't have a problem with a popup or two but when they have so many popups that it crashes you browser or they try to force you take some plug in thats what I have a problem with.
For that mater I hate spy cookies like what cdrinfo has. Why do they have them?
ps. I didn't mean to start a debate, I just found a program that works and it was free so I thought it would be a good thing to share.
spy-cookies ?
It is surely not cdrinfo.com itself, it is more likey that their adviser uses them. You know some of the bigger banner sponsors do use such shit.
