As stated above, only PIV at 3.06 and above have Hyper-threading enabled, and to make use of it you need XP with SP1 and then you can turn it on and off in the BIOS.
Hmmmmm, one question - how is hyper threading different from paralellization in the Itanium processors (where, you have more than one arithmetic and logic units of different types for increased parallelism) ?
