HP dvd300e drivers for XP

Please would anyone tell me where I could download these, as I coverted my Firewire NEC DVD burner ( ND 1100A ) to an HP dvd300 so that I could use the HP bitset utility for changing the DVD+RW book type field.
I found out that this utility requires the installion of HP RecordNow which unfortunately can't see my Firewire drive.

Any suggestions ?

Use the latest pxengine update (from Sonic site), or if it can't update the HP version of Recordnow then try any version of RecordNowDX or RecordNowMax.
To my poor knowledge, bitsetters do not improve the readability of the burned media at all- so I think you went into straits for no good reason.

From my reading of the DVD+RW compatability FAQs, I thought that an incorrect book field type could be the reason my Apex 1500 will read my burnt DVD+R ( using DVD Copy Express) but not read my KHypermedia DVD+RWs.

I thought that was why these Bitsetter have been developed.

Is this not the case ?
