Hp CD-Writer 7500 firmware

The hp cd-writer 7500 don't burn 80m cds, i need a firmware to solve this problem but i can't find it anywhere.
If anybody knows where i can find it i will be very greatfull.

Thanks

here you go... this firmware will turn your hp75xx into a hp8100, i have done this myself on my old hp 7570i drive and it works very well :)
Flashing the drive is done at you own risk.
A bad use of the software could damage you drive definitively.

If you have a floppy drive, then download a boot floppy - www.bootdisk.com

I would ALWAYS carry out a DOS flash that way.

My recollections of the 7500-8100 flash, is that the 4x speed was not always reliable - depends, I suppose, if the original mechanism was used for a 2x drive because it was a 4x reject.

Going back to the older question - the 7100 would seem to be a Philips 3610 rebrand - if anyone still cares
