Howto use DVD2One with many episodes DVD`s????

I have the English Series called Absolutely Fabolous (Serie 4) that I want to backup. If I wanna use DVD2One I can only choose one episode. what do Ihave to do to choose all episodes and make it into ONE cd using DVD2One?

Have you tried ripping the main movie files with dvd decrypter as one big .vob (+ the .ifo) and then trying it in dvd2one? It may pick all the episodes up in one go this way. In dvd decrypter, go to TOOLS, SETTINGS, FILE MODE, select MERGE VOB'S. Good luck :D

I think Pinacle InstantCopy would be the best choice to use here as it can copy the whole DVD including menus. etc to one DVDR.

Or wait for the dvd2one update.

In short terms: How does InstantCopy work? And is it worth the money? I mean to back up DVD`s??? I heard that it could not back up "Hollywood" DVD`s.

IC will back up a DVD (any type) to a DVDR. Download the demo. Read the many threads already here about it. It works very similar to DVD2ONE in that you MUST first copy the DVD to your HD, neither product will work unless you do that first. Just read each products homesite, they both say that.

IC has the ability to make a backup of even DVD's with many episodes on it, some fail but most dont. DVD2ONE fails to backup ALL of these episode DVD's directly.

With DVD2ONE you can back them up by rip[ping each Episode to a different folder on your HD, then renaming the vob files to be all in sequence, create a new IFO file with Ifoedit, then run DVD2one on these new created files.

DVD2one & Multiple Episodes

Hello Folks,

I have provided a link below to a “Guide” that will detail how to join multiple episode DVD’s and/or double sided DVD’s (flippers) in to one VOB file set.

This “Guide” details how to use VobEdit and IfoEdit to join VOB files of different episodes together in to one VOB File set that will allow DVD2one to process just like a “Normal” Movie DVD with chapters.
