HOWTO: Flashing the 106 too 107D??

Is this possible I see some people have done it just I cant find any documentation on the actuall procedure.

Any info will be much apprecated.

I don't think its possible!!! I haven't read anything that said that work or that anyone tried it. Anyway welcome and enjoy the forum.

Suggest visiting the CDFreaks Pioneer forum located at h**p://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=87and see what information they provide.

You can also visit the FirmWare Page DVD forum located at h**p://forum.rpc1.org/viewforum.php?f=2 and see what they have to offer.

Both of the links I have provided have a wealth of information on Pioneer DVD firmware.

@ coaster not really the advice that SystemLord was looking for .. and we don't want a messed up 106 here :)

in simple I dont think this is possible ive not read that anywhere !? and i would avoid trying to upgrade to another drives firmware unless you have read that at least more than say 4 or 5 people have done this successfully without hassle or a dead drive :)

if in doubt about flashing then avoid as it could result in a dead burner :(



edit typo 105 should read 106 :)
