How to totally get rid of Ws32/Sircam@MM

I just found out that a sircam virus Ws32/sircam@MM resides in my colleague's Workstation. We are running McAfee, it detects and cleans/deletes this file from c:/windows/system folder. Once booted up, sircam still exists. seems McAfee can't remove it completely.
Any idea how to totally get rid of this annoying virus?

Hmm, you bet me to it Almighty1 :D

I´m sure the other Antivirus vendors have similar tools aswell, just do a search on their site for virus-info/cleaner

It took me for a while to remove this sircam virus in my collegue's pc. I used the above tool (fixSirc.exe) and scanned/cleaned back the system files using McAfee.

bah was gunna add the same link as "Almighty1" lol they have loads of tools that are VIRII specific at symantec !! ;)

thanks to "Almighty1" gettin there first heheh !! he posted same link as a lot of us were thinking !? maby he did not know it and posted the link via telepathy lol !! ;) heheh !

nah.... I posted it because I run a few ISPs and it's like everytime I see it... I give that link... hehe
