How to stop Instant Copy from doing quality checks?(at the start)

Hi Guys

i was wondering if there is a way to stop InstantCopy 7 or 8 from doing its initial quality checks prior to encoding/copyinga movie? - that would save me 10-15 mins.

thanks

Easy, use DVD2One instead :D Dont like the quality it produces, then go back to IC7/8. Its strange how the better the quality, the longer it takes to produce generally. Learn to live with it.

There is a way to cut it down or increase it by editing the registry.

If you would like to do this please reply and I will look out the correct registry key for you. :)

But I am inclined to agree with CM's response really, in fact I have edited IC 8 so it examins more of the movie and takes even longer myself! :D

Quality comes first for me too. I was refering to movies files that were less than the standard blank dvd disk size, therefore a exact copy to copy is required, i was wondering whether there was really a need for instantcopy to do the initial quality checks as it would not require encoding.

@Laz
i have instantcopy 8 too, care to share infor regarding the edited IC 8 plz? i won't mind using that myself.

thanks

If the DVD is less than 4.37 gig then why are you using IC7or8 at all, just ISO the DVD with DVD Decrypter and burn out with DVD Decrypter. 10 min to read the DVD and 14 min to burn out, all done under 1/2 an hour. You cant get much quicker than that.
