How to remove CR protection system?

Hi all,
I'm very new to this DVD burning (only got my burner today) and I was wanting to know if I can remove the copyright protection and still use DVD Shrink to compress the full disk?
I know I can use DVD Decrypter but I have to remove the movie extras to make it fit and I would like to keep it all.
Any Ideas?

I just got my Pioneer DVR-106 today and think it is a fantastic burner, considering I am in the process of teaching myself (with the help of the forum tutorials) I have managed to avoid any coasters so far : )

Hi daveml,
To tell you the truth I don't know if it is macrovision or not, in DVD Deccrypter it is shown as CSS/CPPM but I don't know what that stands for?

My (early ) version of dvdshrink removes that during the ripping.
Does yours not?

I'm running DVD Shrink 2.3 and was under the impression that it only compressed the files and did not remove any protection, I am new to this and don't know much about it. Do you have any idea how I can test if it does remove the protection apart from burning a DVD and trying it?

It does remove Macrovision- no need for Decrypter.
