how to record from pc to tape - VCR?

HY THERE!

I've got a new problem: how can I capture video from the PC to a VCR? I tried to do this via the TV-out from the Video card. Actually I have no idea whether this should work or not. But I tried - and could record nothing.
What I want to ask is if it is possible to record on tape from the PC via the TV-out from the video card, and if YES, how to do this - is any software needed?. If NO - how can I capture on tape videos from my PC?

You need to select TV-Out - it doesn't normally run simultaneously. The Graphics card settings should allow this, or there are extra programs that can make it easier

TX for the link. I'm viewing it right now. i think it should run just fine. the graphics card is a msi with nvidia geforce fx 5200 chipset.
