is there any program which can emboss my logo ot text in the movies i encode ?

If u use dvd2svcd and choose to create image u can have your own logo as the title picture.

I usually encode dvd compliant m2v or mpeg2 files is there any program which can do the same job in mpeg2 files

Use virtualdub to encode your own logos with the help of the filter logo.

Download the Logo filter for VirtualDub and copy that one to the plugins folder of the virtualdub.Here is the help and the download link.
