If you want to convert to MPG, then get the QTPluggin for TMPGEnc from _www.doom9.net, copy it to TMPGEnc folder and convert to VCD following the AVI/DivX/MPG to VCD Tutorial, just load the MOV file instead.
When I load the mov file in TMPGEnc gives me an error.... that's strange because it as the QTpluggin installed and recognize the mov files... but don't manage them....
TMPGEnc can handle some MOV files for some reason. Last resort is to use EO Video ( from _http://www.eo-video.com ) I have used this for MOV files just played with it for RM files, but it sopose to handle MOV files as well.
