I have bought a portuguese software and it comes with a floppy disk that I must insert during install.
I want to make a backup of that floppy - who can trust floppy disks and has not losen any data with one?
That protection makes no sense because it even says I must desable my anti-virus during install and if I want to uninstall the program I must use the floppy during that operation. But, what if I have a virus or the system crashes and I have to format the hard disk?
I have tried some with some old DOS programs (DiskDupe Teledisk, DiskCopyFast) and FloppyImage, but when I try the non-original floppys, the install program says they are fake ones.
How can I make a good backup??
Thanks,
nunomad
