How to extract movie file from a image file?

Hi guys

i have two movies which are image files. i have burned the files onto a cd making a vcd. I wanted to ask how can i extract the mpeg2 file from the image file? and whats the best way to convert that into a avi file to use in DVD2SVCD - in order to make a DVD.

You can use Isobuster or vcdgear to extract the movie files.Theres no need to convert them to avi then to dvd files

You say your burnt the files as VCD's, they are MPEG-1 files not MPEG-2. Dont even think about wasting your time converting MPEg-1 to MPEG-2, the quality will decrease not increase.
