how to extract boot sector using isobuster

to extract the boot image from a normal CD (Not MS windows XP/2000)

on the left pane, click on "Bootable CD"

you'll c "Arnes Boot Record.img" right click it and choose "Extract Arnes Boot Record.img"

you'll be prompted to choose where to extract it to.

MS windows XP/2000 is another story, not hard thought

:)

Thanks mimo and how to extract bootsector from n MS windows XP and 2000 cd using isobuster or any other prog

for windows XP,

extract the "Arnes Boot Record.img"

as in the previous method.

the diffrence is in burning the new CD, u must use "NO EMULATION" and set the Sector Count to 4

windows 2000 is very similar but make sure that the full contents of the cd are available. it uses some of the files on the root directory.

Thanks mimo for the info actually I am working on Michael K.H. Au-Yeung's Multi-Bootable N-in-1 CD If I need more help I will bother u agin
Thanks
