Can we encode 5.1 to svcd??? if our source file is 5.1.. are there ways to encode it.. thkxx..

How to encode or decode 5.1 dts or ac3 to svcd from AVI2SVCD....

Yes and no. SVCD specs support multichannel MPEG audio, however bugger all players do, besides I don't reckon it would leave much space for video. Ok, I guess for trailers, demos and stuff.
Probably have better luck creating a miniDVD, that way you can simply re-use the AC3/DTS.

You cannot include AC3 or DTS into a SVCD, the spec does not allow it and even if you did somwhow manage to get them in, no dvd player will play them. Best is to let DVD2SVCD downmix the 5ch AC2 to 2ch AC3 in Surround2 mode, which is Pro Logic II format so some surround information is retained in the 2 ch stereo.
