Open the movie you want to download and let the video completely play - download
Go to your Temporary Internet Files and find the movie file
Copy (don't move) the movie file from Temoprary Internet Files to your desktop
Open up a Quicktime player
Drag and drop the movie copy from your desktop onto the QT player window
Go to "Edit--> Delete Tracks" and delete all but the video and sound tracks
Go to "Edit --> Enable Tracks" and enable the video and sound tracks
Go to "File --> Save As..." and select "Save as self contained movie", give it a file name and hit "Save"
You should now have a working copy that you can manipulate however you want (re-encode, edit)
You can re-encode with Tmpeg or CCE or Adobe Premiere!

You have to aktivate "save movies in disk cache" on Quick Timer Browser plug-in settings!

Have you update to QuickTime Pro Player:confused:

some mov files are protected. I downloaded a file and wanted to export it to another format, but the player said file is protected. is there maybe a programme that can remove these limitations, similar to the programmes, which remove limitations from flash files?
