how to create the dvd

hello,

i created a movie in priemere and tried to burn it to dvd.

i'm currently using nero vision because i would like to create menu to the movie.

i had the following problem when exported to :

avi
after transcoding in nero vision the program raised "abnormal" error.

dv
nero vision accept this format yet after the movie was created, i found out that there is no image, only sound. i know that it is the dv because i used mpeg movie in the menus and i can see them.

mpeg
this is the only format the works, but i tried the best quality and the movements in the movie looks mechanic.

what can i do, i tried each format several times.

2 does someone know about other good program that creates menu to dvd and recognize dv format's or others?

thanks for the replys.

i search in the forum and in the tutorials but couldn't found answers to the following questions :

1. Names of others programs that creates menus to personal movies (such as nero vision).

2. If i will have to use Nero, what should i do so it will keep the quality (such as avi,dv) and will also work. should i change the format ? to what ?

1. TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVDLab would be a good starting place. Could I am sure find more by searching google.
2. MPEG2 as this is what Nero would convert to anyway. See previously mentioned tutes for info on AVI-->MPEG2.
