How to convert NTSC,VCD to DVD+-RW?

Would somebody please help me to convert the movie under code of NTSC,VCD to DVD+-RW, so I can watch them on my DVD player which can read DVD+-RW.? Thanks

The quality of the picture would look horrible if you upconvert to full size dvd. There is insufficient data on a vcd to create a quality dvd. I assume that you tried to burn the vcd onto a cdr and playing it on the dvd player. You could try using TMPEG DVD SOURCE CREATOR to create a NTSC 4:3 dvd format file to burn in your burning app of choice. You don't need to select anything just load the file and it will keep it in the original aspect ratio. That should work for you if you don't mind the lower quality.

A VCD is already a compliant video size & type for DVD so no need to re-encode. Just author in DVDLab which will change the audio from 44.1 khz to 48khz for you. See the Tute at http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=31927 for further help.
