How To Combine VOB’s & IFO’s ?

Hello Folks,

I am attempting to make a copy of Bride On The River Kwai DVD and having problems figuring out how to do it. The problem I am having is that ½ of the movie is located in VST_01_VOB files and the other ½ of the movie is located in VST_03_VOB files. I cannot figure out how to combine the VTS_01 and VTS_03 VOB’s and IFO’s files so I can process them with DVD2one. I have attempted to use SmartRipper and/or DVDDecrypter to combine the VTS_01 and VTS_03 files but have been unsuccessful. DVD2one will only allow you to select only one Title/Chapter to process. If anyone could provide information on how to do this I would be greatly appreciative.

I may have misunderstood you but why don't you just use dvd decrypter and rip the PGC in IFO mode. I assume you are using File Mode and that's what's causing the problem.

Hello Folks,

I finally figured it out.

I found the below Web Site that has a “Guide” that details how to join multiple episode DVD’s and/or Double-Sided DVD’s (flippers) in to one VOB file set.

This “Guide” details how to use VobEdit and IfoEdit to join VOB files of different episodes together in to one VOB File Set that will allow DVD2one to process just like a “Normal” Movie DVD with chapters.

I hope this information is useful for forum members who are wanting to “BackUp” Multiple Episode DVD’s using DVD2one. I believe this “Guide” is simple to understand and easy to use.
