Thanks for the help!!!

But here is the problem??? Hope someone can help me out, or can point me in the right direction.

After I transcode with Instant Copy, I have 5 PDI Files?? Now, I know that I have read that you can burn these with either IC or burn with DVD Decrypter. Now, I'm not that big of a fool, but when I try to burn the files, I can only burn one at a time?? How can I combine the files to then burn all at once??

I've also tried the PDI Extract tool, and PDI2ISO, but I have the same problem!!

If I only burn one file at a time, the DVD will close??

Thanks for your help...

what do u mean by "I can only burn one at a time??" u use instant copy in "hard disk to dvd writer" mode to burn the pdi files.

Yeah, I tried that but it looks like it wants to only burn "one at a time??"

For example, when I select the file, the first one is "movie.pdi", (which is not very long.

The secong one is about 1GB and it "movie.pdi01"

My question is...how do I burn the entire PDI file with all the pdi's combined into 1 to make the full movie??

Thanks so much for your help.

All you do is load the first file you listed m8 as that will load everything up, I tend to use DVD Decrypter to burn it as this now handles .pdi image files and never a problem. :)

Take a look into the mirror and say "D'OH" to yourself... ;-))

If you'd like to burn the image with IC, you choose the one with the suffix ".pdi", all other parts are processed automatically. Pinnacle is splitting their images to 1GB-bits to avoid incompatibilities with old filesystems and/or network-protocols. That's a bit ancient, but who cares.

If you absolutely don't like to burn with IC, just use the Tool "PDIControl" in ICHSE or press CTRL+P. There you can convert your PDI to ISO. Here you also choose the first, the ".PDI".file. BTW, there are other tools available who do the same.

Hi All!

just for the record: IsoBuster works aswell.
But like laz i tend to burn using DVDDecrypter, it has a good burning engine and at least provides some infos while recording. Something that pinnacled missed completly.

But any attempt on converting / extracting and then burning with your tool of choice will also serve you well!

As ingrid already perfectly explained a pdi set is only split for compatibility reasons.
you open only the .pdi file, the other files from the set are then automaticly accessed by the applications

Greetnx
