How to clear region counter in sony DRU-500ax?

Hello,

I bought sony DRU-500AX and tried to play dvd's with several region codes. When I received you have 1 time remaining to change code I inserted dvd with my region code to fix it. Unfortunatelly I received error. The drive is not responding please reinstal drive. Of course drive is instaled properly and working perfectly exept this.

Is anybody here who can help me?

I tried flash bios version to clear the counte. Doesn't work.

The best answer, is to add a suitable (has RPC1 or autoreset firmware hack) DVD-ROM drive, and not waste an expensive DVD-Writer on playback tasks.
