how to burn a 800mb avi file

Hi

Ive got a 800mb avi file that i wanna burn as vcd but its too big to fit on the 1 cdr so i tried a file splitter which split the files into 2 but nero will not burn them saying the file type is not supported (even tho it would split the file before it was split), just wondering if anyone has any ideas or knows any software which will allow me to burn the file onto 2 cds.

alternatively,u can use a 99mins cd(870mb) without having 2 split it into 2,but u'll need 2 enable overburning in ur favorite burning tool such as nero
