how to add a subtitle to dvd

hi ive got a film in xvid but its in chinese ive got the english subtitle but dont no what program to use or how to join them together any help
also is there a program that you can change it from chinese to english without the subs is it called dubbing

U just need to have access to your subtitle, in your PC use some DivX Xvid player like BSplayer (the best) that can load subtitles and just load the subtitle. Some desktop DivX Xvid players like the Philips 642 will play subtitles burned on the same or even onto another CD. So, U just need to have access to your subtitle from your player

For DVD you just need to convert the subs to a format that your authoring app supports (if they aren't already) then add them whilst you author the DVD.
