How good is DVD2CDR™ ? Has anyone tried this program? Post your experiences and impressions about it please. Thanks

Yep just downloaded and tried it out. Trial limited to 15min of movie and 30days.

Made a SVCD with all the default settings and final quality looks typical of internal routines of DVDx. ie pretty crappy really. Encoding time is also very slow for me. Cue/bin files are made using VCDImager.

A nice front end to a lot of freeware available programs. If you want an easy to use program that makes quality VCD or SVCD's, then I would suggest EazyVCD ( from http://www.eazyvcd.tk/ ) and its FREE

x-bones-x, I've been told one of the beta testers (not me of course) posted a beta copy on a warez site somewhere (dont ask me, I dont know where) and that had slowed things down a bit. I understand it still a high priority of the team and they are still working on the product.

ALCOHOL 120% <== using that for last 2 months .. best burner prog I used .. not one coaster .. all successful burns ..that why i hungry to test this all in one rippa they releasing ..
