How do I put a subtitle to a dvd movie?

Hi,
How do I put a subtitle to a dvd movie?
The movie is in vob and ifo and not in avi or mpeg, I know how to put it to avi and mpeg but the quality is not good.
I have load a sub. from another movie and edit, so its all good and now its a *.sub file and I want to put it back to the movie.
I can convert the *.sub file to another file too.

Which software can put it back, I have downloaded all the subtitle software from doom9.org but those are all editors.
I havent found anything on mpgex.com either.
Does it works with IfoEdit ???, and if it can how do I do it ????

For IFOEdit you need to convert it to sup format.

What is sup file ???
I can convert to like 30 differents but none sup file, theres alot different, sub., txt., ssa, sst., tts and so on.
Like:
DVDsubtitle = sub.
Subviewer = sub.
MicroDVD = sub.

Which software can convert to sup file??

ok, I found a software called srt2sup.
Now that I have convert the file to sup can ya pls help me to put it to the dvd movie with ifoedit, how do I do it ???
