horizontal problems

hi,

was having a problem using svcd2dvdmpg+ where the burned dvd movid played fine on my pc but when it was played on my dvd player the horizontal image of the movie was ll out, was half the picture on one side of the screen and the other bit of the picture looped round on the other side of the screen, i thought this must be a problem with the above software, but after trying DVD LAB i get the same problem, my dvd player is a TOSHIBA which usually plays everything.

anyone got any suggestions.

Only thought is to try it out on a friend's set top player to see if it will work. Sounds like a problem for one of the pros.

A SVCD burnt onto a DVDR, will still only play at best on a DVD Player that can play SVCD's in the first place. For the ultimate playback without problems, then you need to re-encode the SVCD to DVD specifications. This takes a lot of time and is also not problem free. DVD Movie Factory 2 seams to do this seamlessly though
