We realize not all of our readers are mechanically gifted alike. So for those of you who can't remember the last time you held a screwdriver but want to build a custom case, we created the first ever THG UV Reactive PC and walk you through the process step by step. Drilling holes for switches and sleeving cables is just some of the tips that you will find here. Believe it or not, it is not really that hard to create a snazzy looking PC with a little planning and some hard work. "

Well, I just finished reading that article - and it's not going to make me a casemod convert.

An awful lot of effort and extra cost, for a rather "glow worm" UV effect that's overpowered by the LED lighted parts.

I think if I was going to go for a mod, it would have to be something more aggressive - internal LED disco lights reacting to the sound system or something, maybe firing into frosted panel (so no need to be quite so tidy) - Hmm, I actually quite like that idea - banks of (say) 5 hi-bri RED, GREEN, BLUE leds, cycling when it's quiet, and sound reactive when it's not.

my local puter store sells cases with alternating color strip lighting in it already and looks pretty cool :)

i've also seen them with those FAKE fish tanks built into the side of the case where the fish move about :)

although ....way!!!.. too expensive though for a midi case bleh lol :)

hehehe personally i don't think i'll be able 2 go zat far :D:D...i'll be ruined upon doing it lol
if i remember well ,there r some/many pics of more or less similar mod cases @ amdmb forum....looks somewat appealing 2 the eye but when cost & manpower comes into play......brrrr :D
