I dont have a DVD Burner yet, but have money and will buy one, question is, what is the best dVD burner and the cheapest that actually works good. Cheapest means no more then 200$. Also, I have about 2 AVI movies, how can burn them to DVD-R disc so I can watch them on my TV with my regualr dvd player. Also I have some DVD movies, and I have clean DVD-RW discs, how can I copy DVD movie and then burn it to my dVD-RW disc so then I have all the menus and everything like it was a clone and watch it on my dvd player ????

Welcome to the forum. The Pioneer 106 would have to be one of the best alrounders followed by the Sony units (they are a bit dearer).

As for converting your AVI or DVD's to DVDR's, then I suggest a bit more reading, particularly in http://www.cdrbase.com/forumdisplay.php?f=117 . All your answers are there.

Hi all, am new to this forum.
I convert avi vidioes, to DVDs with nero6, the best way is to save them after convertion, but it will convert directly? somtimes.

HI Agn.

I use DVD X C0py Xpress, 3.05, this works very well, and will put a DVD on one disk, the only problem is it costs £35, but 3 Dvds later its paid for. I have copied about 50 of mine, so well worth the cost.

Cheers.

Not long, about 15 or so seconds at most, then it plays.

And you can copy the copy in Nero if you so wish. Do it as data.

If the odd one does not work, rip it into vob files, and copy them to a DVD, they then play no trouble at all, on a cheap Ronin player.
Might take two DVD blanks, 68p each, but its only the odd ones, and not very many of those.
