I just recently joined, and I think this is a great forum. I really appreciate all the people who spend so much time writing guides, tips, answering questions that baffle us newbs, moderating this forum, and just being friendly and helpful. I tip my hat to all of you guys, and also to those who post to www.dvdrhelp.com ; a few weeks ago I was completely ignorant about digital video. Now, I can make VCD's, back up my DVD's, and operate several programs that manipulate, copy and save digital video. I am comfortable trying to learn something new relating to this subject because I am confident that I can find answers and help with any problem I face. So far I haven't had any question that I couldn't find the answer to just by searching and digging in these huge databases of knowledge.
You guys can call me Brad, or BT if you like. I am a 31 year old male who spends way too much time in front of this screen, lol. I have recently purchased a Lite-on 411 dvd+/-rw cdrw 4x burner that I am very pleased with. I use DVDShrink, DVD decrypter, DVDStripper (just recently), and I burn with RecordNowDX. This is an excellent combination of tools that I would recomend to anyone. I consider myself to be a newb/intermediate at this, but most of the time the difference between being ignorant and intellegent is simply knowing where to find the information.
