Plextor DVD reader/burner. New XP system. Trying to play a few DVDs but all have the same problem. WMP mumbles something about screen resolution being set too high (lowered it but get same message). RealOne opens and chugs along but there is no picture and no sound. Roxio player cannot play them Friend tried DVD on his XP PC and WMP (upgraded to latest version) could not play it, but his IBM laptop, with WinDVD played it just fine!
I have Roxio installed and it seems to be able to burn CD and DVD. Advice appreciated (I will try to get PowerDVD and see if it works ...)
