Help with Nero Vision Express

thanks in advance

i have just installed Nero Vision Express & when i try to open it i get message directx 8.1 or higher is required

i have 8.1 installed i am running windows me

any help will be greatly appreciated

Your not missing anything at all..it has to be one of the worst put together programs ever ..it"s works like a Beta version and has no device controlls for video capture and it re-encodes every file loaded into it even totally SVCD/VCD/DVD compliant files are re-encoded...I wouldn"t bother...

I don´t know about your error, but i know this: if you want to make DVDs, Vision is one of the worst description, you can use, and if you want to burn S-VCDs you don´t need it!

thanks guys, you have convinced me, i don't think i will bother using it but i would like to know why it is not recognising my directx 8.1 must be a buggy prog
i am deleting it immediately
