we are trying to put video clips from a digital camera onto a dvd but having problems - we are putting it as a mpeg file and going through the wizard but we are getting to the point where it splits into 2 files audio/video then we get an error message saving compliance test failed - and then when we play it on a dvd player it either says no disc or wrong format - weve been trying to do this for 12 days !!! please someone help us

is the files you have ALREADY mpegs !?

then all you really need to do is drag and drop with nero to make a vcd using the vcd section of nero ...... do not let nero convert the file ..if the mpeg is already compliant nero will not make any complaints :)

just burn the disk when you have added the mpeg to the vcd compilation :)

if you need the MPEG split then there are a thousand and one tools out there that will cut mpegs avi splitter splits many formats and i use it myself its avail from http://www.boilsoft.com/ :)

...and also TMPGENC will also split the mpegs :)

check our guides how to do this :)

usually nero causes lots of problems when you let it encode /convert video files so its best to do any with an external program and burn with mpeg when processed :)
