Help with Instant cd/dvd v8

hi everyone
im new on he forum and having biggy probs with my new IC8 ( I think) not even sure if its the new DVD drive or what now first off when i open my software and try to start the copying of the DVd it was telling me its copyrighted so off i went and d/l anydvd to support it, no more messages telling me its copyrighted but when i start the copy process it just goes on and on forever
I did notice the light on my dvd r/w drive goes out after a while (usually these lil green lights stay on surely when the drives busy) checked alll settings etc etc and hope someone can help me out here be4 I kick the puter where it really hurts LOL

RU sure your drive is properly supported by that particular program version?
Instant CD/DVD has the "habbit" to sort-of-support all untested drives with a generic MMC-3 driver, which sometimes (especially on DVD drives) does not behave as it really should.
If it's not then you can get a recorder update from Pinnacle's site, or since you have bought the program contact the Pinnacle tech support (a bit lazy, but anyway much better than the Ahead or Sonic or Roxio one...) and tell tham about the issue.
Sorry I cannot help more, but you didn't even name which burner gives you grief...
