I have a P-3 850 with 768 Megs of RAM and I'm using a 1394 conection to download from a CannonGL-1. Win 98 SE. No matter what software I use the resulting end video product is choppy, lots of dropped frames. I've tried Neo DVD, Ulead DVD Movie Factory, Intervideo Win DVD Creator, My Sonic DVD, and a few others. Is my system lacking in speed to do a good job? I've considered upgrading to Win XP to see if that will help. Basically I'm trying to put videos of my son's basketball games on DVD. I am using a sony DRU 120a DVD burner, but the quality issue comes up before I burn. Any suggestions? Thanks for reading this rather long post.
