Help with avi sound files

If i have an avi that doesnt use ac3 codec, can it still be burnt to a dvd, if so can someone plz help a lot of my avi's have MPEG-1 Layer 3 audio codec.

Shouldnt be a problem at all...Use dvd2svcd and convert avi-you have a choice there like svcd or dvd.For best quality choose procoder or cce as encoder,start the thing and go to sleep..
And in a morning you got a movie
Also check the tutorials....might be something there allready

You can use gspot to find out what kind of audio it is. Like zver said it shouldn't be a problem.

Only difference is that with mp3 audio you have to convert both the video and the audio, where as with AC3 you only need convert the video.
