If you didn't install ASPIs you need to.
I like the ones from adaptec.
NERO InFoTool will work and will tell you allot about your system.
Use
DVD Decrypter and tells us who the DVD-R\RW or -R-RW Manufacturer is. In DVD Decrypter go to Mode => ISO => Read and the info on the right side should look some thing like this with a plank DVD-R in your drive (sony) and make sure DVD Decrypter is looking at the Sony for your source. That will give you a file like this:
Device Information:
Current Profile: DVD-R
Disc Information:
Status: Empty
Erasable: No
Free Sectors: 2,297,888
Free Space: 4,706,074,624 bytes
Free Time: 510:40:38 (MM:SS:FF)
Pre-recorded Information:
Manufacturer ID: RITEKG03
Physical Format Information:
Book Type: DVD-R
Part Version: 5
Disc Size: 120mm
Maximum Read Rate: 10.08Mbps
Number of Layers: 1
Track Path: Parallel Track Path (PTP)
Linear Density: 0.267 um/bit
Track Density: 0.74 um/track
Better yet just copy and past like I did.
I had to you the
search because I wasn't going to type that out again by the the it works good.
