HELP !!! re-encoding avi problems

i have a problem re-encoding avi to dvd . i have been using neodvdstandard4 which worked fine ,
but for other reasons i had to format .and since i have re-installed all my software .i can be re-encoding and it will bomb out in the encoding proccess it seems to be on the video side as the image freezes and the sound goes on i am using windows xp . with a pentium p4 2.4b ,,1024 mb ram only sdram thou 133fsb.c/labs eax soundcard ,g/force 4 128ddr .gigabyte titan motherboard .codec installed divx,nemo,xvid,has anyone any ideas as to were to turn next

Another Nemo victim, unisntall it as you already have DivX and Xvid codecs installed, why complicate your system.

thanks!!chicken man tried that i didnt seem to help so i put a old system in and installed the required codec xvid and divx and it still bombs out

solved the problem chickenman

i had to format and get rid of my directx90b and put all my other software and drivers back it worked 1st time so i guess there is a wee bug with the new beta directx9.0.b

As the name suggests, its Beta, why do you expect it to work 100% ? Good to hear your sorted the problem though.
