Help: Progy to passthrough Proxy/Firewall

Hope there are lots of people who might hv gone through similar situation as below...

Does any1 know any good progy to pass
through the Proxy/Firewall.

I am aming for using internet services like newsgroup, telnet, ftp etc through my proxy which are blocked. Only Http is allowed.

I tried antifirewall, but iam unable to connect to any proxies!!!! My ISP doent provide news services, can i still be able to connect to newgroups??? through proxy using http???
