help plz with avi onto vcd

sorry if i sound real thick but i got a avi film on pc that i want to put on a disc so i can whatch it on my dvd player in stead of watching it on the pc ive tried useing nero6 but everytime it tries to burn it says not enought space on disc on cdr or burning error when putting it on to dvdr can anybody help me

Well in time honoured fashion, the reply usually is :
Check out the tutorials..........look in the` DVD To DIVX/(S)VCD` section under `tutorials` and you should find what you are looking for

For VCD the max you can fit per 700MB/80min CD is oddly enough around 80mins. If the film is longer then you need to use more discs or go for an XVCD by using say a KVCD template.

Do you actually have a DVD burner or are you just putting DVDR's in a CDRW drive? If you do have a DVD burner then you might want to look into going for a DVD over a VCD.
