I'm converting a SVCD Movie to DVD,The problem that I have is that when I extract the Mpeg file with isobuster,and then play it in Win DVD everything is fine,but when I encode the mpeg with TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator to a DVD compliant mpeg file and then play the mpeg in Win DVD the video and audio are both fine but near the end of the movie the video freezes and the audio keeps going. :mad:

Is there anyway that I can correct it PLEASE so the movie is good. :confused:

My experiance has shown TMPGenc and MPEG2 dont mix together very well, way to often there are problems. I dont know why, there just is.

CCE will give you better and quicker encode anyway, so rename the extracted MPG file to VTS_01_1.VOB and copy a VTS_01_1.IFO file off any dvd. Then use DVD2SVCD using CCE to reencode, its all in the tutorial section (DVD to DVDR Tute).

Another way, but with lower quality though, is to use MainConcept MPEG Encoder, just load it in, set to DVD output, give an output name, set PAL or NTSC, set audio to Layer 2 and hit the Convert button.
