help please! "error with titleset" in copy to dvd

i tried backing up the second disc of one of my DVDs and it was single layered. When i tried to back up the dvd, a popup came up on "copytodvd" which said that i had "an error with titleset 8. This may affect the writing of your DVD" and etc. So i tried dvd shrinking it and dvd decrypting it, and burning and the same message came up. So i decided to burn with a dvd-rw to see if it worked. My dvd player at home doesn't read DVD-RWs so i tried it on my computer and it worked. So, I burned it on the DVD-R. The DVD-R works on my computer, but when I put it into my DVD player, it just has a blank screen and it's trying to load. Can anyone help? The first disc worked.

What media are you using? I'd try a different brand. My friend had that same error, and was making coasters, so switched media and it eliminated that error.
