*HELP* Picture freezes after burning

hello everyone,
could anyone tell me how to correct a problem please :rolleyes:
after burning a mpeg file onto a dvd-r (using nero) 15 mins into the movie
the picture freezes but the sound is still going..i tried a few other programs,
but i don't have a big hard drive (TMPGEnc says i needed 10 gig space)
I just didn't have that spare on my comp... that's why i had to use nero or do I ?? is that any other program that don't need to use a lot of
space to burn files onto dvd :eek: lol.. i am such a newbie at this..

if anyone could explain to me how i can stop the picture from freezing i'll be :) :) :)

Most likely this is a media specific and not software specific problem.
Plus that all those programs need more or less the same HD space to work.
