VIRUS

Can't you goto the folder you have a/v in, make shortcut to desktop, run prog, then use autofix?

What do you think about using a Rescue Disk, DON'T you tell me that you didn't make a set of Floppy disks with Norton antivirus and NU programs and virus definitions for moments & problems like this??? No, don't tell me, I'll not believe you!

yeah, good luck !
Though I have to agree with Pokopiko !
Norton stuff was my favourite some time ago ... But with every new version the tools from Symantec get worse :(

i'v killed the worm.
at first it didnt want to go i kept editing the registry but i would just change back by itself couple tries and reboots later i edited it again and the change stayed.
:p nice try wermy

I use Norton Antivirus v7.61 Corporate Edition for Servers. Since it is considered as crap, can anyone suggest me another good working antivirus THAT WORKS FOR SERVERS please???? Note I have installed Windows 2000 Advanced Server into 2 of my machines and I mostly use these two... So, since McAfee av 6.01 Pro doesn't work (and is also overloading systems running on 9x/2k and so on), what would be the best antivirus solution I could get???

Norton Antivirus v7.61 Corporate Edition for Servers is not so crappy as nav2002.
It is a totally different program, the memory usage is less than 2002, and it is not so many things that can get "wrong" as with 2002. It is more "generic" than 2002

I personally prefer F-Prot, but I dont think they has something for servers.

Trend Micro have some good products, that dont use much resources and is fast.

Trend Micro Office Scan Corporate Edition v3.54

TREND MICRO SERVER PROTECT v5.31

TREND MICRO SCANMAIL V6.0 for exchange 2000
h**p://202.109.129.8/softasp/softasp/jxshow7.asp?softid=3812

If you go here and search for "trend"
h**p://soft.jx163.com, you will get many choices.

Trend is not a bad choice for servers, but that is
Norton Antivirus v7.61 Corporate... either.
