Having nearly completed editing my sisters wedding video, my hard disk crashed and wiped 120GB of data off it! A mate of mine is trying to recover lost data from my hard drive using repair/recover software with limited success.
I have therefore lost my sisters wedding video! However, before losing the drive, I did write the Adobe premiere files to CDR inorder to view them on television via my DVD player.
What I am desperate to do, is to copy the contents of the CDR back onto my pc in order to complete editing of said video. However, the files saved on CDR were written in VCD format, and when viewed on pc appear in the directory as .DAT files. Is there some software that I can use to change these files into editable .AVI files?
Please help...!
