Start in this forum (PS packet writing IS NOT for copying CD's)

U will have to do some hard reading to get started
For copying U will need a protection scanner like A Ray http://www.dvdrbase.com/forumdisplay.php?f=162

& copy software (Alcohol 120% is my preference)

& also your hardware must be up to the job!!

Just to tell you that it doesent matter if your pc is packard or whatever.I got a pavillion and it works ok,but still i would never recomend a hp couse their support sux at best..Most important is what kind of drives you got in with a pc.My came with a cyberdrive 40x burner and it succesfully copyed -ripped few audio protected cds, also pc came with a lots of garbafe like dla packet writer, norton demo.....and few millions useless packard internal aplications which were slowing pc a lot.If i were you i would format a hd and start from there;i know it sound crazy but its trye.So check which drive you have and what do you wanna a copy and post back all info :)
