HELP! In Search OF SOMETHING!!!

hey guys, great forums!

ok, so years ago I had my hands on a "hacked" version of a windows .dll (i think, or .cvs or something), that when I replaced the file in Windows/System (I think) and rebooted, I would place an AUDIO CD in, and this is what would happen:

Audio CD placed in drive.
Go to Windows Explorer, and the AUDIO CD now reads as a DATA CD, with a bunch of directories which coincided with the available audio files on the CD...
So i could go into AUDIOCD:/44hz/AudioTrack01.wav and just copy it to another drive, as if copying a data file...

Now, I *KNOW* for sure I'm not imagining this, I used it for years, but now I can't find it anywhere!!!

ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Use this alternate CDFS.VXD cd driver on Win9x to show Audio CD's as WAV files IN THE FILE SYSTEM! This replacement driver shows WAV files in a variety of qualities. It works on any CD drive that Windows can support.
You can use your favorite Wave Editor program to read directly from the CD.
Never heard a skip or pop, unlike CDCopy or others...

Put it in your \Windows\System\IOSubSys directory, and reboot. You can rename the old CDFS.VXD to CDFS.old for archive purposes.
